Searchable Guardrails, metric deep links & environment-bound preflight
Find a guardrail metric by typing in the catalog, jump from a rollout to that series in Datadog or OpenObserve, and preflight against the environment that is actually bound — so a configured provider no longer looks missing.
Search the Guardrails catalog
The Guardrails editor is now a searchable name picker. Filter the catalog your provider emits, or type a free name and press Enter. Block and Alert refuse to save without a breachable threshold; Log may still have none.
Jump to the metric
Quick links open the signal, not the vendor homepage. A Datadog metric lands in Metrics Explorer on that series; OpenObserve carries the query on the connection URL. Oodle still opens the console home — it has no published per-metric path yet.
Improved
- Rollout lists and the context rail say Control points, not flags
- Pause and Resume resolve the soak — a parked hold keeps its remaining time
- Amend is locked while a timed automatic soak runs; a parked stage’s hold stays editable
- Preflight uses the environment’s bindings, so a bound metrics provider is not reported missing
Fixed
- Soak queries the full metric name, not a stripped id
- Datadog multi-series metrics collapse instead of failing the soak
- Datadog hyphenated metric names match what preflight and soak both see
- Guardrails table no longer repeats the same soak observation
- Removing the last guardrail actually clears the list
